Goofed off at the University of Houston for a couple of years before I joined the Army. Spent 5 years there which may have been the best decision I ever made. Got out of the Army and into law enforcement where I managed to work my way through college at Southern Arkansas University.
After graduating I moved to the Tacoma Washington area to be closer to my daughter, but unfortunately the cost of living got me and I moved back to Arkansas where I now work for the University of Arkansas Criminal Justice Institute. I work on Homeland Security cyberterrorism as well as Department of Justice information sharing programs. I'm blessed in the fact that I actually enjoy getting up and going to work each day.
My daughter Hannah is the light of my life. There's nothing I love more than being a dad. She's 16 now but I guess I'll always think of her as my little girl. I dont think that ever changes.
I'm looking forward to the reunion and catching up with every one. I hope to see a great crowd there! Should be lots of fun. |

Can't name just one. Partys at Gonzos place, fast times in Juarez, and the comaraderie of teammates are a few. Pretty much just the laid back no care in the world except enjoying family and friends made it a special time.
I guess one of the funniest stories I can think of was me and Toby Smith having trash detail after school for something or other, and for fun we were throwing the trash bags on top of the cafeteria rather than in the dumpster. Problem was the bags werent very strong and mid spin on one of them the trash went flying everywhere when the bottom of the bag ripped open. That was a fun one. Caused a little extra work for ourselves but we still laugh about it to this day. I guess it's pretty bad when the janitors start to refer to you as trash pickers. lol.
Dont know why but we managed to keep ourselves on some type of after school project on a fairly regular basis. I dont think we were bad, we just tryed to have fun and keep ourselves and others laughing. |
